After his first death, Kairos is not simply sent onward. He is selected. A position is placed before him. But Kairos does not ask about rank, power, or reward. He asks about Lenka.
The system could offer him a place beyond mortal life. It could not give him the one person he wanted back.
The wish that could not be granted
Kairos asked for Lenka.
Lenka was his first home. Before the reincarnations, before the resonators, before the wars and centuries, there was a small village beside a forest.
